NPC Summer 2007 Youth Trips

Dear Parents and Youth in grades 8th-12th,
It is time to think about youth ministry trips. NPC is offering three senior high trips in 2007. History has shown us that kids pick the trips depending on schedule and interest. We now how busy people are, but we also know how life changing a youth ministry trip can be!

Here are particular details for each trip:

Spring Break Mission Trip to Mississippi Gulf Coast
Mission Trip to Long Beach, Mississippi working with the Presbytery of Mississippi
When: March 31 - April 5
Who: High School students (12 spots open )
Where: Mississippi Gulf Coast - We will be staying at the Long Beach Presbyterian church and working in the Long Beach–Gulfport Area.
Cost: $300
Deposit Due: January 28

Our work will include a variety of things from cutting trees, yard work, hanging drywall, mudding and sanding drywall, painting, roofing to walking dogs at the Humane Society. We will not know the exact tasks until we arrive.

Presbyterian Youth Triennium
When: July 16-July 22
Who: High School students (5 spots open)
* We attend by Presbytery, so more spots might open by May 1st
Where: Purdue University
Cost: $350
Deposit Due: March 11

MONTREAT YOUTH CONFERENCE
When: July 28-August 4
Who: Rising High School (16 spots)
Where: North Carolina
Cost: $425
Deposit Due: March 11

Scholarships are always available-please see Marti. Cost should not be a factor in deciding whether you will be able to attend a NPC youth ministry trip.
