What's Happening with High School Youth at NPC??????
There is always a lot happening at NPC! Here is a highlight of some upcoming events.
Summer Movie Nights
Movie nights are open to all High School Youth (rising 9th grade through graduated seniors)
Thursday, July 5 - "Pursuit of Happyness" A movie about man struggling to sell bone density scanners who decides to try to improve his life and the life of his family by trying out for a competitive internship program. After his wife leaves him because of his ideas, the man clings to his hopes and dreams with his son. They struggle through homelessness, hunger, jail time, and other hardships on the road to changing their lives.
Thursday, July 12 - "The Boat is Full" A movie that documents the Swiss reaction to multitudes of immagrant families that tried to enter Switzerland in order to escape Nazi Germany during the 2nd World War, this film points to some of the harsh realities of immigration. A group of refugees bands together as a "family" in an attempt to cheat immigration standards and remain in the country.
Thursday, July 26 - "A Walk to Remember" Langdon, one of the "cool kids", is forced into community service where he meets Jamie, decidedly "un-cool" and fine with it. As they fall in love, they navigate the waters of both High School and life.
PCUSA Youth Triennium July 16 - 22
The Presbyterian Triennium happens every three years.
6000 young people gather at Purdue University for a week full of new friends, recreation, worship, and small groups. It is a great way to see the church at work in the world. We go as a group from

Montreat ConferenceJuly 28 - August 4
Montreat is a Presbyterian Youth Conference in North Carolina which will change your life. At Montreat you will meet new people, sing, dance, and connect with friends at Nassau in new and meaningful ways.
