The
Choirs of Nassau Presbyterian Church
Nassau Church is pleased to be home to ten singing and ringing choirs, ranging from
age 4 through adulthood. The Music Ministry of Nassau Presbyterian Church
provides opportunities for church members, and those in the community
without a church home, to express their faith through song. In addition
to vital and varied congregational singing, carefully selected and rehearsed
anthems and instrumental music are prepared in weekly rehearsals by the
Adult Choir, the Choirs for Children and Youth, and the Handbell Choirs.
Each rehearsal has the overall goal of Christian education -- music is
our tool. Participation in the church choirs transcends that of school
or community groups, since it seeks to reflect the higher aspirations
of a faith community -- to deepen insight and lengthen vision through
worship. All are welcome to find a place in the music program.
