Mission Allocation

Three years ago the Session of Nassau Church made an important commitment to devote half of all new pledge dollars directly to Mission. You may be familiar with some of the ongoing projects that are part of Mission. But did you know that your additional pledge dollars have helped make possible significant increases in our support of Denominational Mission and Community Ministries?

Over the three years, $81,419 from new pledge funds has been applied to the annual Mission budget at Nassau Church. If you’re wondering what these pledge dollars can do, here’s where the annual Mission budget has increased from 2002 to 2005.

The commitment to apply 50% of new pledge dollars to Mission has clearly made a difference. All those who pledged made it possible. And those who challenged themselves to expand their level of giving made a real difference. We hope those of you who have not pledged this year will consider joining your friends in support of Mission.
