9. Volcano Acatenango, from the school yard. If you look closely you can see a puff of smoke coming from the peak, as this volcano, which last erupted in December 1972, is only quasi-dormant. |
10. Jonathan was the offical translator for the music team. |
11. Jeff and his percussion section. |
12. Some young admirers swarm Jeff. |

19. Catherine and Laura review paperwork for the infirmary. |
20. Our PE team, who never got a rest, since there were kids out in the schoolyard all day. |
21. Unders Dave's watchful eye, the girls proved just as passionate about football (soccer) as the boys. |
22. Anne and Kristin prepare art supplies for the next class. |
23. It took Dave a while to realize that the girls wanted him to play goalie, so they could take penalty shots. |
24. Our medical team interviews a mother and her children. |
25. After lunch the music team helps Bryan finish painting one of the classrooms. Here Jeff is on a roll . . . |

27. Jonathan prefers being down to earth so he worked on the wainscotting. We worked in relatively dark colors since with wood smoke from the kitchen, and lots of little hands on the walls, the light color got dirty too quickly. |

35. The Medical Team voted this little girl the sweetest in San Bernabe. |
36. One of the very few shy children. |

62. The ladies unwind, after a busy day. Catherine is busy writing down her breakfast order for the next morning. To help the hotel, since we were the only residents, and to get through the meals more quickly, we would always order the next days meals in advance. |
