Important program information for children and youth

Even though it's the middle of the summer, Fall will be with us soon. In an attempt to limit the number of forms each family needs to fill out, we have consolidated each program’s registration, medical, and photo releases into this one form available by clicking here. Field trips, overnights, and other excursions outside the building will continue to require a specific form applicable only to that trip. We need you to complete a new form each year to ensure we have accurate, updated information on you and your child/ren to ensure your child’s health and safety. Especially important to us is a frequently-checked email address, emergency contact, medical and learning difference information.

We are cleaning up our database, so if you have moved or no longer wish to receive communication from Nassau Church, please let us know by phone, mail, or email.

We realize that the beginning of the school year places many demands on your time and attention. We are sending these registrations to you now so that you can return them to the office by the end of July, in time to update all of our records for these programs, create participant lists, and order materials in time for start-up in September.

Carol Wehrheim is general editor of new lectionary based curriculum
Presbyterian Publishing Corporation (PPC) and Congregational Ministries Publishing (CMP), publishers of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), are collaborating on a new lectionary based curriculum founded on the award-winning lectionary commentary series Feasting on the Word: Preaching the Revised Common Lectionary. Carol Wehrheim, our Clerk of Session, is the general editor. Launching in the fall 2011, the ecumenical, downloadable resource will follow the unique format of the commentaries, which provide four different approaches to each biblical passage in the Revised Common Lectionary. Feasting on the Word Curriculum: Teaching the Revised Common Lectionary will be designed for classroom use in the church among various age levels, including children, youth, and adult.
