Child Care during the church school year
Nassau Presbyterian Church welcomes family members of all ages to our care and worship. We are pleased to provide specialized loving childcare for our youngest ones, utilizing well-trained professional childcare providers and church volunteers. Our primary goal is to make all children feel welcome and at home at Nassau. We want parents to feel confident and secure knowing that their children are in a safe and happy place. All of our paid childcare staff has been carefully screened.

Childcare continues from 10:30 AM - 12:15PM for infants through Age 3 in Room 07.

Walk with Me curriculum is based on seven major values:
- Biblical and Reformed – Faithful to Scripture as children and leaders are encouraged to grow as children of God.
- Grows Faith – Designed to encourage leaders and children to live out their faith in daily practice.
- Easy-to-use – Flexible, easy to prepare, and with lots of tips for leaders.
- Child-friendly – Many options provided for teachers to “fit” the lessons to their class
- Celebrates diversity – Children are challenged to grow in love of and appreciation for all parts of God’s family.
- Builds community - Children learn to care for others, encourage each other, and learn together.

Grade 5- The Bible – The Story of God’s Faithfulness: A Survey of the Hebrew Scriptures
Originally written for Nassau Church by Carol Wehrheim, this course is part of the church school resources of the PC(USA). This study helps the participants make connections among the stories they may know already through a sequential, systematic approach to the chronology of the Old Testament.
Grade 6 - With All Boldness and Freedom: A Survey of the New Testament
Carol A. Wehrheim wrote this overview of the New Testament for Nassau Presbyterian Church. It is now part of the church school resources of the PC(USA). This study of the New Testament provides the setting of an early house church for the participants to follow the life and ministry of Jesus and the activities of the early church.

Worship Explorers
is held during the 11:00 Worship Service and is for children age 4 to Grade 3 in Room 204.
The Worship Explorers’ program is based on the Young Children and Worship curriculum by Sonja Stewart & Jerome Berryman and is an engaging, age-appropriate way for children to encounter God within the context of a worship service. Through this unique program, children are nurtured and invited to participate in the mystery, wonder, traditions, and practices of their faith.
Children attend 11:00AM worship with their families and, after the Time with Children, Worship Explorer leaders escort the children to the Worship Center - Room 204. Parents may collect their children from the Worship Center following the service.
