Youth Education at Nassau Presbyterian Church
Education for and with youth at Nassau Church seeks to:
provide youth with opportunities to explore faith and raise questions within a safe, nurturing community
deepen knowledge of their faith through worship, Bible study and discussion of current issues. Classes for grade 7 and grade 8 meet from 9:15 - 10:15 a.m. Sunday school weaves together Bible study, current events, spiritual disciplines and an exploration of popular culture.
A senior high class for grades 9 to 12 meets from 9:15 - 10:15 a.m. The morning begins with breakfast and fellowship followed by a discussion of biblical themes and their connections to the present day lives of teenagers.
Many of Nassau's youth are also very involved in fellowship and in the music ministry of the church.
