Created and Called Gifts and Needs Inventory
The Nassau Presbyterian Church community is amazing. Each of us is like a masterwork from God. Our combination of abilities is unique. Our giftedness includes our talnents and abilities, styles, interests, experiences, preferences, and passions for serving in the world and is part of an abundant web of endowments in our faith community.
These gifts were given to us so that we might minister together as partners in God's work in the world. There is the caring by our members for the work of the church here, and throughout the larger world. And there is the care of the members of this church, through nurture, equipping, and growth on our spiritual journey.
Please join us in discerning and helping to use these gifts. We ask all who are seeking new opportunities for discipleship, service and/or fellowship to fill out the survey.
This inventory has five purposes:
- To help you identify your own gifts;
- To help our faith community recognize and celebrate the abundance of our gifts;
- To offer you a chance to use your gifts;
- To offer you the opportunity to be involved in supportive small groups;
- To provide an opportunity to identify and meet your needs.
